About Kathryn McNeil, MD, PA

Dedicated Expertise in Psychiatry

Dr. McNeil completed her medical education at Texas Tech and her residency at the University of Arizona in Tucson. Originally from West Texas, she returned to Amarillo, where she has built strong connections with her patients and the community.

In June 2023, Dr. McNeil opened her private practice in Amarillo, taking over from a retiring colleague. Her practice focuses on a broad spectrum of psychiatric conditions, including mood disorders, PTSD, substance abuse, and personality disorders. Dr. McNeil and her team are dedicated to providing personalized care, taking the time to get to know each patient well. The practice also offers Spravato, an FDA-approved nasal ketamine treatment for treatment-resistant depression, which has proven highly effective in managing chronic depression. With a commitment to individualized care and innovative treatment options, Dr. McNeil’s practice is a trusted resource for mental health care in Amarillo.
